Translating Architecture
into Type

This final poster series reinterprets Hadid’s architectural principles, challenging traditional typographic conventions in the process. The collection features both connotative and denotative designs, brought together by a monochromatic palette and a single typeface family for visual cohesion. Through varying type weights, sizes, and spatial compositions, the series creates a dynamic interplay between structure and expression, further transforming typography into a textural experience.

The result is a visually immersive series that captures Hadid’s essence, where typography mirrors the movement and depth of her built environments. Beyond this posthumous tribute, these posters serve as a conceptual foundation for a potential exhibition I intend to explore in the future, celebrating Hadid’s lasting impact on both architecture and design.
