Studying Form and SpaceThe project first began with extensive research into Zaha Hadid’s architectural portfolio to understand her approach to form, structure, and movement. Known for her bold, unconventional designs that challenged architectural norms, Hadid juxtaposed curves with sharp angles to create fluid-like structures.

Iconic works such as the Heydar Aliyev Centre (2012), the Guangzhou Opera House (2010), and the Phaeno Science Center (2005) became key references in studying her mastery of spatial composition. Beyond her buildings, Hadid’s creative philosophy, rooted in abstraction and futurism, influenced the body copy used in each poster, treating type as visual texture. By analyzing her work through both visual and conceptual lenses, I wanted to find a way to translate her architectural language into an expressive typographic series.
